Nominator Comments:

Anju, Kiran and Sundeep, the dynamic trio leading the ADS team, have consistently gone above and beyond to embody the values of client-centered care, teamwork, and innovation. Through their compassionate leadership, they have fostered an environment where staff and clients alike feel valued, heard, and supported. Their dedication is evident in the countless lives they’ve touched – from mentoring recruits and volunteers to helping seniors navigate the challenges of dementia with specialized care and engaging programs. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, they spearheaded virtual programming and created innovative outreach strategies, such as delivering activity kits and launching telephone bingo, ensuring clients stayed connected even in isolation. Their tireless efforts were also instrumental in the successful transition to a new facility, managing projects like the Dementia Strategic Fund, Seniors Community Grant, and Healthy Seniors at Home, which brought yoga, Tai Chi, arts workshops, and educational sessions to hundreds of seniors. They are praised not only for their hands-on approach but also for their proactive initiatives like the ADS Safety Action Plan, which led to a significant reduction in incidents, and their collaborative fundraising efforts that brought the community together. With an unwavering commitment to quality, inclusivity, and care, Sundeep, Kiran, and Anju have truly set a remarkable standard in the ADS program, creating a lasting legacy of leadership and compassion.
