CHARLA VALL is an absolute natural leader who has been leading the charge with three of United Way’s agencies (CUPS, Distress Centre and Red Cross) to evaluate the true values of providing Basic Needs to our most vulnerable populations over the past two years. This project has been ground-breaking in establishing new practices amongst community organizations. Aspects of Charla’s leadership skills that are admired by her teammates are her ability to listen, promote dialogue, confront the most difficult questions, build consensus, and act. Charla is motivated, caring, dedicated and conscientious. She is known for her sense of humour, intelligence and lightheartedness. United Way is delighted to present Charla with a Bhayana Leadership Award.
