Nominator Comments:
This team implemented the new anchor agency funding and program funding – one of the biggest changes to United Way’s investment model in 60 years. Their professional and caring management of relationships with community partners as well as internally with other UW teams has made this a smooth change process. Every team member led components of the work to ensure the full changes were effectively and flawlessly executed. In doing so, they strengthened UW’s relationship with Women Gaining Ground (WGG) through educating members on how the new model would provide access to investment opportunities in the community, thus setting the stage for future success.
