Felicia Nadine Brown-Colley (deceased)
2020
Invisible Champion Award -
Nova Scotia/Halifax
Volunteer
East Preston Day Care/FRC
Nominator Comments:
During COVID-19, Felicia stepped in and supported staff at Family Resource by helping them do deliveries to families in the community. Felicia went above and beyond to make sure many of our community members were taken care of. Even if it was simply by listening to them and giving positive words of encouragement. Felicia gave positive words of wisdom during some of the most uncertain times, she was able to ease the mind of many young girls in our community, she listened and never judged. She helped people see past the bad, she was able to pick out the positive in every situation.
