GameChangers 902 is comprised of three community activists doing integral work for the Black and African Nova Scotian community to equalize the game of life and centre Black/ANS voices.
Game Changers 902 has hosted multiple anti racist, anti oppression and black mental health workshops to educate white folks and allies who want to support and uplift the Black and African Nova Scotian communities. Have hosted many actions, demonstrations and rallies in support of black lives matter during covid-19 while ensuring to prioritize the health of everyone who participated.
Game Changers 902 has held many zoom virtual sessions to gather community support from lawyers, therapists, property owners and various organizations to create a network of community partners and individuals who can support and provide information to black folks in NS. Additionally, they continue to uplift Black and ANS artists, youth, activists and businesses.
These three young advocates are truly changing the game and creating space in the HRM for Black Lives Matter conversations/movement to happen and to ensure that Black and ANS folks are treated equally and without discrimination.
