Together, Ruth and Rhonda designed an entirely new funding process based on evidence, best practices, and intensive consultations. They consistently demonstrated integrity and accountability to all stakeholders by carefully assessing risk to UW and the broader community. Learning from challenging experiences, they modeled critical self-reflection and acknowledged difficulties as growth opportunities. As leaders, they supported, motivated and reinforced a shared vision for the team during a time of great change. Ruth and Rhonda have led one of the most significant funding model change processes for UW and remained optimistic and determined throughout journey.
2017 M-B Awards
Recognizing the extraordinary staff of United Way-funded agencies who make a difference every day.
I am delighted to share with you this year’s nominees for the Building a Better UW Award. This award provides the most formal recognition under the M-B Family Spirit Awards program.
These nominees are being acknowledged by colleagues for living our values, demonstrating excellence and embracing leadership.
Nominees have been invited to a celebratory breakfast with the Senior Executive Team and the M-B Family Spirit Awards Volunteer Selection Committee. We will announce three recipients at the May 26th All Staff Celebration.
